Welcome to The New Way Ministries official church website.
We are a new church made up of people from all walks of life, who are committed to loving God and loving people. No matter what your background may be, you are always welcome to be part of this awesome family of Christ.
In Matthew 22:9 Jesus says to go out and as many as you find invite them to the wedding feast of the Lord. Jesus does not look at race, creed, nationality or your personal circumstances and we also work on the same principles.
We are a church who not only loves those within our midst but also love people from outside the church through generosity and compassion.
Our prayer is that all who walk through our doors will meet and experience the fullness of God.
What is believed and educated in this church?
The New Way Ministries is not just a church. We are also a Charity dedicated to helping the homeless, orphans, widows and other destitute people in our community and beyond. We are on a mission to bring the gospel to the whole world.
What is Faith?
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3
Do I have to be baptized?
When you come to Christ and give Him your life, the old is gone and you are now a new creature in Him. Baptism is a great part of that new creature you have become. When you are baptized, you are submerged completely under water. When you come up out of that water, you are now a completely new person. The bible says in Mark 16:5-16 “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
What do I do when I get there?
Come as you are. When you get here you will see a group of people who are dedicated to spreading the gospel and share the good news with the world. You will see some dressed up and some casual. You will meet friendly people who will welcome you with the love of Christ. No one will judge you. Just come as you are and enjoy the service. Sing along with us or just watch if you want to. All you have to do is take that first step in coming to visit us. What happens when you get here is all up to Christ.
Life Changing Stories
From my very first encounter with Christ in July 2005, I have experienced unbelievable times in the presence of God. I took the chance thinking that I was giving God a chance but it turned out that it was actually God giving me a second chance at being who he wanted me to be. There has been ups and downs but I never gave up. I persevered during the hard times and rejoiced during the good times and the experiences has boosted my faith. One thing that I have learned over these past 10 years is that I cannot rely on someone else’s faith to build me up but rather finding my own way with God. God has a plan for each and everyone of us and this differs from individual to individual we only need to be open to what He wants to do in our lives and all will fall into place
I grew up in the church then I backslide when I was 16 years old. I ended up becoming a drug addict and alcoholic and spent 11 years of my life in and out of mental hospital. But God was always looking out for me. He reached out and grabbed me when I was at my lowest point and was about to lose my sanity completely, and He put my feet on solid ground again. I then rededicated my life to Him and from that day on I have been walking with Christ and He has done so much more for me.
Came to Christ on September 4th 2016 at approximately 1:00 am. I woke up to a strong conviction and felt as if something was gonna happen to me if I didn't change. I woke my wife up (who was born again about 6 years ago), saying something is up with me. My wife prayed with me and I gave my life to Christ instantly. Then my journey started.
